Hormann Up & Over Doors Technical Information

Home Products Services Information About Us Contact Us

Up & over garage doors come in two types of gear either Canopy or Retractable. The main difference between the two is in the action the door takes to open. Up & over garage doors come in a variety of materials such as Steel, Timber, Upvc & GRP. All up & over garage doors require a frame to fit to, this can be either Timber or Steel (Steel would be our recommendation).

The information contained on this website for up & over garage doors is based upon the Hörmann up & over garage door.

Long-term performance thanks to excellent technical solutions and uncompromising quality assurance, you receive a 10 year warranty on all sectional doors and 5 years on all Hörmann operators.

break the others safeguard the door.

Precision track guidance prevents the door leaf from “derailing”.
